I am definitely imagining his sun and moon as gost. Some times they talk to Ruin. Or moon throws himself in front of his eclipse when Nexus gets mad. Even though it won't do anything. Sun trying to comfort his eclipse when he is sitting in Some corner after Nexus beats him for some stupid reason.

And this is of course , not Even touching what happened with Ruins creator. The guilt that his sun and moon feel. This poor man brand new and immediately getting forced into a mess of pain that was probably meant for Them. If they were still there in Ruins situations at least they would have each other. Ruin going through all this on his own. Sometimes he can see them but he just assumed he was going crazy.
